Tombey

TOMBEY is a youth-focused initiative committed to improving access to accurate, timely, and relevant Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information and services for young people across Nigeria.

We understand the challenges young people face in navigating their sexual and reproductive health journey. That’s why TOMBEY exists, to bridge the gap between curiosity and clarity, between questions and trusted answers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:

  • Increase awareness and understanding of SRH among adolescents and youth.
  • Empower young people to make informed decisions about their bodies and futures.
  • Facilitate access to youth-friendly SRH services and resources in safe, inclusive spaces.

Through TOMBEY, young people can:

  • Access first-hand, reliable information on SRH topics.
  • Connect with trained counselors and peer guides—both in-house and volunteer-based.
  • Ask questions anonymously and receive real, judgment-free answers.
  • Engage in open conversations via forums, chats, and peer support spaces/communities.

Our Values

At TOMBEY, our work is guided by a set of core values that reflect our commitment to young people’s health, dignity, and rights:

Youth-Centeredness

We prioritise the voices, needs, and experiences of young people in everything we do.

Respect and Dignity

Every individual deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of background, identity, or beliefs.

Confidentiality

We provide safe spaces where young people can ask questions and seek support without fear of judgment or exposure.

Inclusivity

We embrace diversity and ensure our services are accessible to all, including marginalised and underserved groups.

Empowerment

We believe in equipping young people with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed choices.

Integrity

We are committed to providing accurate, evidence-based information and maintaining transparency in our work.

Collaboration

We work with communities, educators, health professionals, and youth advocates to create lasting impact.
